Motor Refurbishment
Alaron and EMC, Inc. (Electric Motor & Contracting Co., Inc.),have joined together as teaming partners to offer our customers an extensive motor refurbishment service. As a group, we can handle small to large motors (RCP's) both safety and non-safety related.
Each partner brings a unique talent:
- EMC provides an extensive motor repair facility and an experienced refurbishment staff.
- Alaron provides the decontaminaion facility and expertise for handling contaminated components.
Alaron and Electric Motor & Contracting Co., Inc. have expanded our capabilities for handling large motors. The expansion now allows us to offer a full service for Reacter Coolant Pump Motors as well as Recirculation Pump Motors. Alaron has added to our infrastructure the equipment upgrades necessary to accommodate refurbishment or rewind of RCP and Recirculation Motors. The equipment upgrades include: Large Motor test stand and panel (15Kv), Burnout / Bakeout oven, 35,000 lb soft bearing and hard bearing balance machines. EMC has added an experienced full time staff to Alaron's facility to provide services on these large motors as well as other motors requiring "hot shop" service.
