Alaron Nuclear Reaches 5 Year Milestone - Safety is Key!

Wampum, PA (April 6, 2010) - Alaron Corporation, Wampum PA, is very pleased to announce that as of March 7th, 2010 we have gone five(5) years without a lost time accident. The milestone is the best record in company history. Michael Lokar, the companie's Industrial Safety Officer(ISO) attributes this accomplishment to the "ongoing training of employees, support from supervisors and management alike, and an experienced workforce that knows the importance of safety and watches out for each other on a daily basis." Lokar said, "with the incorporation of our new General Manager, Thomas VanKirk, safety has now become a top priority at the facility."
Congratulations to management, supervisors, and especially to all the employees who made this accomplishment happen. Well done.
- Wampum, PA (March 29, 2010) - Tritium illuminated exit signs are used in nearly all commercial and public facilities around the world. Proper handling and final disposition of these signs once they have exhausted their useful application is required by law.
Alaron is now able to accept Tritium exit signs for return to manufacturer for recycle or disposal.
Exit signs are consolidated at Alaron's facility and packaged for return to a manufacturing facility.
One of Alaron's Radioactive Materials shipping brokers will travel to the customer's facility to inspect for verification of compliance, package, manifest and ship from the customer's site.
If a customer wishes to utilize their own Radioactive Materials shipping department, instructions for proper packaging for return must be obtained by contacting Alaron's shipping deptartment at 727-535-8521.
Signs must be packed in containers using packing material to limit their movement during transportation. All packages must be sealed completely.
